FAQ
BROW LAMINATION
What is Brow Lamination?
Brow lamination relaxes and re-shapes the brow hairs and can transform unruly brows into a more desired shape. Generally the brows are brushed upwards but different styles and shapes can be tailored to your preferences.
How does it work?
The brows are brushed into the desired position, sometimes using a bonding gel for hard to tame hairs. A lifting balm is then applied to the brow hair which helps to soften and reshape the hair, then a neutralizing balm is applied, this sets the hair into shape. Then it's tinting time (if desired), and a brow wax and shape is carried out to give a groomed look. Finally a keratin treatment gel is applied to keep the brow hairs in shape and healthy!
How long will it take and how long does it last?
The appointment takes around 1 hour with our expert brow technician. Relax! Time for a power nap or catch up on your favorite pod cast. The brow lamination lasts for 6-8 weeks with no maintenance required!
How do I look after my new brows?
-
For the first 24 hours after your treatment it’s important not to allow water to come into contact with your brows
-
For 2 days afterwards do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water
-
Do not apply makeup to the area for 24 hours
-
Avoid sunbeds and direct sunlight
-
Do not touch or rub brows immediately after treatment. If any redness or irritation occurs wash the area with water and use damp cotton wool as a compress to soothe the area.
-
Brush through brows daily (in direction of lamination) to maintain the look.
